Re-energized by the SIOP Annual Conference and ready for more research? SIOP has everything you need!

The spring edition of TIP, the official publication of SIOP that provides news, reports, and noncommercial information related to the fundamental practice, science, and teaching issues in I-O psychology, is available now. New Editor Myia Williams continues the tradition of quality articles that has been a hallmark of the publication for decades. Max Classroom Capacity and Academic’s Forum columns are joined by reports from several committees and articles of general interest to provide something for everyone.

In addition, two new focal articles are available for the Industrial and Organizational Psychology journal, which features a focal article-peer commentary format, fostering collaboration between scientists and practitioners.

  • Focal 1 is Defining Who Is a Worker: Why I-O Psychology Should Extend Consideration to Nonhuman Animals That Labor for Humans by Ivan Hernandez, Arturia Melson-Silimon, and Michael J. Zickar.
  • The second focal article is Environmental Sustainability at Work: It’s Time to Unleash the Full Potential of Industrial and Organizational Psychology by Clara Kühner, Joachim Hüffmeier, and Hannes Zacher.

To access, click on the link above and scroll down to the Focal Articles section. Click on the button to go to the overview page. From this page you can access the articles in either PDF or Word format. Commentaries for both articles are due June 1, 2025.

Don’t forget that IOP focal articles and TIP submissions are always welcome. Learn more in the policies posted on each publication’s webpage.
