Advice (Mostly) for First-Time Attendees and Students

The 2025 SIOP Annual Conference is right around the corner and will feature diverse educational sessions, add-on events, and networking.

Because large conferences can be overwhelming for first-time attendees and students, we’ve compiled the following resources. If you haven’t attended a conference in a while, or are a seasoned pro looking for a refresher, you may also find the following helpful.

This list of tips provides helpful information on how to make the most of the conference before, during, and after the event, such as downloading the Whova app. If you are participating in the Ambassador Program, watch for emails from the program organizers to attend their separately scheduled events.
